(Jan. 14) Shortest Post I’ll Ever Write…

Hey, Wonderfuls….I’m up to 298 “followers” on my blog and wanted to celebrate before I reached 300…because then it would have been about the number, instead of the number of connections I’v been blessed with 🙂

Thank you, God bless you and your loves 🙂

Affectionately, Truly.

P.S. Feel free to read my latest regular-type post if you’re inclined…(Jan 12/17) “Ebony and Irony”

    1. You’re not losing it….I was responding and somehow I pushed a button that erased your comment…I don’t know what I did….I did it once before and have no clue how…sorry about that. Thanks for reconnecting 🙂

  1. Hey! You’ve crossed 300 already 🙂 yay! I am soooo happieeee. I can relate to you when you compare the number vs the connection we make with people. Keep up the good work hopefully your number increases soon. One of the ways I’ve noticed is to try and post a minimum of 3 posts a day, somehow i just about manage one 😀 also, follow people you relate to or bloggers who’s post you would like to read. Post as many comments you can once you’ve read their post, it adds a personal touch and helps your visibility to others. Reblog posts you’ve really liked l others. Well it’s easy to advise but follow but I felt it may help you, I would try to do it too.its my dream to make a difference in as many lives as possible and I see this as a stepping stone. I hope we get there where we have thousands and maybe someday millions connecting to us. Have a wonderful day

    1. You are so generous to share your experience where blogging is concerned…thank you for taking the time to connect…as for 3 posts per day, that makes perfect sense, but the nature of what I write/share means that I am lucky to post once a week (my posts tend to be longer ones, and are time consuming to write). Having said that, we each find our own path, and I am sooooo happy for you that what you are doing is working for you….that is to the benefit of the rest of us as well…what you contribute is wonderful 🙂

      1. Thanks a bunch dear. May be you could just try posing some lines on your experience, feelings, moment of the day, what made you smile or such short topics. But I can gauge where you are coming from. Unfortunately I am not someone who can read long posts. However, I’ll do my best to go thru yours 🙂 it’s very sweet of you to appreciate me and encourage me. I am thankful for the compliment dear. Take care all the best

      2. I really, really appreciate you letting me know that you can’t read long posts…you aren’t alone in that 🙂 However, I will be sure to look for you and support you because, through the week, it is really easy for me to find time to read and comment on something brief 🙂 And, you know what? I think I will post some randoms somethings between my reg/longer posts–just to put myself out there and give people the chance to read something quick and easy to digest 🙂 Thanks for your honesty and for being so gracious. 🙂

      3. That is so very sweet, kind and understanding of you. Not many take it well and as positively as you took it. But as I said before I’ll surely read your posts when I am in a mood to read more 🙂 I love reading books so may be I’d just read your posts too. And yes I hope you get to write posts otherwise too. How has your day been dear. I had a crazy lows highs tears and smiles day today. 🙂 But ending on a good note given the fact I am so blessed with wonderful people like you, bloggers and friends 🙂

  2. Well done Truly, just the start of the journey I think too. You have kindly reminded me to run an appraisal of my social network platforms too. In fact I have my one year anniversary of blogging coming up so that would be a good post to put out thanking you all for connecting and, certainly in your case, becoming a very real friend!

Keep up the good work and, I must ask, how is your book going?

    1. Thank you, my wonderful friend…my one year anniversary is in 2 weeks…I know, given how much you have put into networking, you have a lot of “followers”….I am privileged to be among them. My novel is coming along…I’ve been adding snippets under the headings of certain chapters… and I will elaborate on them when I sit down to write at length…the wonderful thing about blogging is that I have found my groove–I’ve really gotten an overview of how I communicate best (as relates to writing for entertainment)…this experience is increasing my confidence in the “unknown”/unfolding path that is my writing process…it’s kind of like moving through fog–you can’t see where you are until you get there 🙂

      1. No way….you started blogging at more or less the same time as me and we connected almost instantly…serendipity in action. Maybe you were predestined to be my friend all along! I have tried to network a lot yes, still learning there which is why I need to review my progress. I also need to start posting regularly again. You are quite right about blogging helping find the writing groove too. I used it to test your writing. In some ways it’s worse than considering approaching an agent. Once it’s up here anybody can see it and you become very vulnerable as a result. However, the upside is confidence…if one can openly blog then the next phase can’t possibly hold much fear can it?
