I am so grateful for the comments I’m getting on my latest blog post–June 1/16…Les Consider-ablers! (translation, “The People Pleasers!”)…. (and, of course, all comments on previous posts)…I write because it is my calling, my passion…so, I am delighted when I love what I write…but, I also write as a way to share….so, I am doubly delighted when others enjoy it. too π And, I have the best encouragers/appreciators ever, for–as it turns out–my writings (riddled with amusing twists and wordplay) often require that wonder-fulls read my posts at least twice…and, they do! Now, that is a testament to their generosity and patience…and to the gift for inside-out-thinking that God has given me. Β See you next post π
Truly
Well, if you will write in your own imitable mannerisms that seem to resonate in tune with, say, madness….then what can you expect π
Always look forward to your ramblings Truly….have a great weekend π

It’s always good to follow your passion. Many can’t even find their passion and figure out what they want to do in their life. It’s lovely that you know your passion and following it. And writing. It need not be a full time. But even a glimpse of it everyday is enough to keep you happy by following it. Proud of you π

Jubilee is an 11-year-old tiny, off-white Shih Tzu (smushy-face, short legs, tail that curls over her back…ultra cute with huge puppy-dog eyes). Frosty is a chunky, but oh-so-beautiful, 10-year-old American Eskimo Spitz….pure white…a cousin to the Pomeranian (face kind of like a fox–and, very fluffy, with a huge plume of a tail that curls over his back)…and, he barks at most everything…including, air (I’m exaggerating for effect :). They are so loveable…perhaps, sometime soon, I will write a post inspired by them π

I am a people pleaser to the core. Perhaps its just a way for people to like me. It’s hard to please everyone because you end up not pleasing yourself.

I hear you, Tony….I continue to work on being my authentic self–and that way, the people who are pleased are the people who help me to be my best self. You are right–people pleasing is a trap because you just end up drained, and taken advantage of, and feeling bitter and sad when your sacrifices are not reciprocated…we can’t please every one…you are such a kind and genuine person–I can tell…I’m really grateful we’ve connected π
